Chukwueze in contention for Wolves clash after injury layoff

Samuel Chukwueze could finally make his return to Fulham’s matchday squad this weekend as the Cottagers prepare to host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Craven Cottage.
The Nigerian winger, who joined Fulham on loan from AC Milan on deadline day, has endured a frustrating start to life in West London, having missed every game since returning from international duty with a calf injury.
Chukwueze has made just two substitute appearances in the Premier League so far, but he made an instant impact by registering an assist in one of those outings.
Fulham manager Marco Silva confirmed on Friday that the 24-year-old is among a group of players being assessed for potential involvement against Wolves.
‘It’s been completely different the last two days, some of them, after a long absence, started to train with the team,’ Silva said at the pre-game press conference.
‘Rodrigo [Muniz], Samuel [Chukwueze] as well, it looks like they could be in contention for the game.’
