Chukwueze to make 16th Serie A start, play first game Vs Napoli

AC Milan hero against Udinese, Samuel Chukwueze is in the starting line-up for Tuesday night’s Serie A game against Napoli at the San Siro as the Rosonnerri return to action after the postponement of their clash against Bologna last weekend.

The Nigerian scored the only goal of the game in AC Milan’s 1-0 defeat of Maduka Okoye’s Udinese in only his third start in the competition penultimate weekend and the 25 year old will be making his fourth start of the season in nine games.

It will also be his 16th start on his 33rd appearance in the Serie A since he joined from LaLiga side, Villarreal in July 2023.

Chukwueze will be hoping he can continue from where he left off by scoring again for the second time in the Serie A this season and second time in 33 appearances.

Tuesday night’s game will be Chukwueze’s first in any competition against Napoli since he came to Italy.

The Super Eagle’s photo was used on the cover of AC Milan’s matchday magazine for the game and supporters of the club will be hoping he can be the hero once again as they return to Serie A action after the postponement of the Bologna game.
