Corriere dello Sport: Osimhen’s release clause for January exit is €81m

Victor Osimhen has moved to Galatasaray on loan, the strong Nigerian player has chosen to go to Turkey after no team decided to buy his very expensive card from Aurelio De Laurentiis’ Napoli.

Friday edition of the Corriere dello Sport says Victor Osimhen has two different release clause for the next two transfer windows.

The Nigerian who exited Napoli on loan to Turkish Super Lig side, Galatasaray last summer can choose to either leave for a permanent transfer in the winter window in January or wait till the summer.

The Italian news outlet says the price for quitting Galatasaray in January if the Nigerian so wishes and there is a willing buyer is €81m while for the summer window exit, the price is €75m.

Osimhen has however shut the door on leaving in January and has encouraged Galatasaray to make a permanent move for him in the summer.

The 25-year-old inspired Napoli to their first Scudetto in 33 years in the 2022/23 season with 26 goals in 32 Serie A games.

At Galatasaray, Osimhen has scored four goals and bagged four assists in his first even games.
