Fabrizio Romano has moved quickly to shut down speculation that Cristiano Ronaldo has left Saudi Arabia with his family to return to Madrid.

Reports circulating in international media suggested the Al Nassr forward had departed Riyadh, but Romano described the claims as “fake news.”

According to the transfer expert, Ronaldo remains in Saudi Arabia and is currently undergoing treatment at Al Nassr’s training ground after picking up issues in their last game.

Romano stressed that the Portuguese star has not left the country and continues to focus on recovery with his club.
