Crystal Palace expected to complete deal for Chrisantus Uche

Sky Sports is reporting that Crystal Palace are still expected to complete a deal for Getafe midfielder, Christantus Uche.

Earlier on transfer deadline day, Sky Sports News confirmed that Palace had reached a broad agreement over a fee between Palace and Getafe for the Nigerian forward.

The deal is believed to be worth over £17.3m, and he underwent a medical earlier on Monday.

Uche is a versatile forward who can play across the forward line.

His impending arrival – alongside Yeremy Pino – ensures that Palace have cover in attack following the departure of Eberechi Eze to Arsenal.
