Dessers market value drops, now ranked 35th Most Valuable Nigerian player

Glasgow Rangers forward, Cyriel Dessers market value has dropped to €4m from the €4.5m it rose to in May this year following transfermarkt’s update of market values in the Scottish Premiership.

The 29 year old has not been having the best of this season especially with Rangers fans who have continued to doubt his quality despite scoring 10 goals in the 22 appearances he has made for the club across all competitions so far this season.

The Nigerian has been linked with a move away from the club since the end of last season and this season looks to be his end in Glasgow albeit he still has two and a half years left in his contract after joining the club in July 2023.

Dessers value has now dropped and now ranks as the 35th most valuable Nigerian and eighth in his club, Rangers.

He is also the 20th most valuable player in the Scottish Premiership and ranked 2,370th among all players worldwide.

Dessers’ Nigerian compatriot at the club and former Nigeria international defender, Leon Balogun is still valued at €150k, the same value he dropped to in May this year.
