Dessers rejected Dutch and Belgian sides to join Rangers

Cyriel Dessers rejected interests from unnamed Dutch and Belgian sides before opting to join Rangers
instead, reports HBVL.
The 28 year old former Genk striker is on the ninth clubside of his career to date, but has stated that he now wants to have a more stable time and remain in Scotland for a few seasons at least.
His aim is to win the league title this season with the Scottish giants like three of his Nigerian teammates, Joe Aribo, Leon Balogun and Calvin Bassey, did.
Genk signed the forward after a spell with Heracles where he scored 18 goals in 29 games.
Dessers scored 11 goals in 43 games at Genk and played second fiddle to fellow Nigerian, Paul Onuachu.
He netted 20 times at Feyenoord, including the 10 that made him Europa Conference League 2021-22 top goalscorer, before leaving for Italy.
In the Serie A with US Cremonese, the Nigerian scored seven goals in 29 games as the side were relegated to Serie B.
