Deutsch Emmanuel and Daniel Eke Take Charge as Technical Adviser and Sporting Director at Enyimba

Enyimba Football Club has entered a new chapter with the official unveiling of Coach Deutsch Detchoua Gustave Emmanuel as Technical Adviser and Mr. Daniel Eke as Sporting Director.

The ceremony, held at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba, was presided over by the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Hon. Engr. Ikechukwu Lekwachi Emetu, alongside the Honourable Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Hon. Nwaobilor Nwadinma Ananaba.

Both officials presented the new appointees to the players and staff, marking a significant moment in the club’s journey.

Delivering the goodwill message of Governor Alex Otti, the Deputy Governor reaffirmed the government’s steadfast commitment to the welfare of the team and its ambition to restore Enyimba to its rightful place as a powerhouse of Nigerian football.

He emphasized unity, discipline, and collective responsibility as the pillars of success, reminding everyone that Enyimba remains a symbol of excellence and resilience.

Coach Emmanuel assumes his role immediately, bringing fresh ideas and renewed ambition to the People’s Elephant.

Meanwhile, Daniel Eke, who previously contributed to the club’s scouting network, now steps into the Sporting Director role, tasked with shaping the club’s recruitment philosophy and long-term football development strategy.

Both men have already begun working closely with the players and backroom staff as preparations intensify for Matchday 27 of the Nigeria Premier Football League against Rivers United in Port Harcourt this Sunday.

The appointments reflect Enyimba’s determination to reposition itself for sustained domestic dominance and continental competitiveness.
