D’Tigress: ‘We are not leaving Paris 2024 Olympics empty handed

Nigeria’s female basketball team, D’Tigress say they are in Paris, France for the long haul and that they are not leaving empty handed.

The Nigerians pulled one of the biggest upsets of the Paris 2024 Olympics when they defeated World number three, Australia 75-62 in their opening group game of the competition.

D’Tigress have been emboldened by the feat and say they are ready for any and all oppositions, including the host nation, who they are meeting next and have beaten once in three head-to-head clashes.

‘We really want to thank everyone so much for all the love we’ve received as a team yesterday. It really meant a lot to us. Truly!!..Now that the dust has settled, we are mentally locked in more than ever.! Momemtum was our focus word today in practice. One win is not enoughH!!!!. We are not going to settle for that! We made history, okay?
