Samuel Chukwueze scored twice in AC Milan’s 6-1 demolition of Serie B side, Sassuolo in a Coppa Italia round of 16 game.
The Nigerian scored on 12 and 21 minutes and was on the pitch for the entire duration of the game played at the San Siro. It was his first brace since April 2023 when he netted twice in Villareal’s 3-2 defeat of Real Madrid at the Estadio Santiago.
Chukwueze scored his first senior brace in April 2021 in Villarreal’s 5-1 demolition of Levante in a LaLiga game and netted his second in November 2022 when Villarreal mauled lower league side, CD Santa Amalia in a Copa del Rey game.

The Nigerian was subbed on for Patrik Schick on 61 minutes and scored the only goal of the game eight minutes later off an Álex Grimaldo assist.
It was the 25 year old’s first Cup goal in Germany and first in 16 appearances across all competitions this season and seventh in 55 games since he joined the reigning German Bundesliga champions in Augsut 2023.
