Eagles Review: Troost-Ekong scores first Al Kholood goal, Ndidi bags fourth assist of season as Okoye concedes three again!
Super Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong netted his first goal for his Saudi Pro League club, Al Kholood in their 4-2 loss to Al Hilal at the King Abdullah Stadium in Buraidah on Saturday.
The Nigerian scored on 87th minute to reduce the tally to 4-2 after Hammam Al-Hammami netted Al Kholood’s first goal in the 71st minute after the visitors had raced to a 4-0 lead in the first 48 minutes of the encounter.
The 31-year-old has now scored for six of the 10 clubs he has featured for in his career as a professional footballer.
In England, Wilfred Ndidi bagged his fourth assist of the season but could not secure his first win against Arsenal in five years as the Gunners scored two goals in the dying minutes to beat the Foxes 4-2 at the Emirates.
