Emmanuel Dennis Signs with Brøndby, Set to Wear No.17

Brøndby IF have confirmed the signing of Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis on a contract running until the summer of 2028, adding fresh attacking firepower to their squad.
The 28-year-old impressed during the club’s first week of training camp, convincing the coaching staff and management that he could bring a new dimension to their frontline.
‘Emmanuel has shown us in the past week that he possesses skills that can give us more offensive options, qualities you don’t necessarily see every day in the Superliga,’ said football director Benjamin Schmedes.
‘He has speed, breakthrough power, and is a real threat in front of goal. Just as importantly, he has expressed his desire to be here and shown the commitment it takes to succeed. All of that makes him a very exciting addition.’
Dennis, capped eight times for Nigeria, has been without a club since leaving Nottingham Forest last summer. His career has previously taken him to Club Brugge, FC Köln, and Watford, where he established himself as a versatile attacking presence.
Speaking after signing, Dennis expressed his enthusiasm for the move: ‘I am very happy to have signed with Brøndby. I’ve seen videos of the fans, they have so much energy, and so do I. I really appreciate this chance and I’m looking forward to achieving great things together.’
He added that his first week with the squad felt like a perfect fit: ‘The chemistry came quickly. The boys welcomed me so well that it felt like we had known each other for years. I could feel the love immediately, and that made the decision even more attractive.’
Dennis is currently in England finalizing his residence and work permit. He is expected to join Brøndby IF officially in February once the paperwork is complete. The forward will wear the number 17 shirt.
