EPL: Supercomputer Backs Arsenal for Title, Chelsea for Top Four

A new set of supercomputer predictions has shaken up the Premier League picture, tipping Chelsea to edge Manchester United in the race for the top four while backing Arsenal to lift the title.

Chelsea’s resurgence under Liam Rosenior has been highlighted, with the Blues projected to finish fourth ahead of United, despite Michael Carrick’s side stringing together four straight wins.

Aston Villa are expected to secure third place, leaving United in fifth.

At the top, Arsenal remain favourites to win the league, even after Manchester City’s dramatic late comeback at Anfield kept them within six points.

Pep Guardiola’s men overturned Dominik Szoboszlai’s free-kick with goals from Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland, though VAR controversy added to the drama.

The supercomputer also sees Brentford finishing seventh, potentially earning rare European football, while Newcastle are tipped to climb into eighth. Everton and Sunderland are projected to slide further into mid-table.

At the bottom, Tottenham are expected to survive, predicted to finish 15th despite their ongoing struggles. West Ham, however, are forecast to join Burnley and Wolves in relegation, a blow to the Hammers despite their recent run of three wins in four matches.
