Erling Haaland’s fastest player to score 20 Premier League goals!
Alan Shearer says Norwegian can score at worst 40 goals this term

Erling Haaland has become the fastest player to score 20 goals in the Premier League, doing so in 14 appearances after scoring a brace in Manchester City’s 3-1 defeat of Leeds United at Elland Road on Wednesday.
The Norwegian supplanted Kevin Phillips who netted 20 Premier League goals in just 21 games.
Haaland’s 20 goals are two more than his father, Alfie Haaland scored in 181 appearances in the English topflight.
To put into context, Haaland’s 20 goals would have been enough for at least a share of the Premier League’s golden boot in five seasons.
In the last four seasons, no-one has scored more than 23 and Man City still have 23 games to play.
He has also scored 26 goals in 20 appearances under Pep Guardiola; this is the quickest that any player has reached 25 goals under Guardiola with top-flight clubs.
Meanwhile Premier League legend and all-time top scorer (), Alan Shearer believes Haaland will score at least 40 goals this term.
“When I’ve watched him, he hasn’t surprised me because you know when there’s a special talent there, and when I look at him, if you want to build from scratch a perfect centre forward, he is it. He is the perfect guy.
‘He’s big, he’s strong, he’s quick, he’s technically good, he’s good in the air, he’s got a fantastic touch. There isn’t anything he’s not very good at. So if he stays fit, he will at worst be getting 40 goals,’ Shearer told Premier League productions.
