Fabrizio Romano: Termination clause to be inserted into new Osimhen deal at Napoli

Respected journalist and transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has revealed the possible insertion of termination clause in the new deal between Victor Osimhen
and his club, Napoli.

The Nigerian is one of the most desired and admired players in the entire world football scene. The Napoli striker is one of the transfer dreams of many
clubs in the recently closed summer transfer window.

Napoli have been able to keep hold of the 24 year old but both sides have not agreed on the renewal and Romano has hinted of a possible termination clause in
the new deal.

Speaking via his official Youtube channel, Romano says thus: ‘The negotiations between Napoli and Osimhen for the extension of the Nigerian’s contract are
very advanced.

‘The former Lille player’s link with Napoli will expire in 2025 and in the new agreement, there will also be a termination clause. At the moment there is no
agreement on this last aspect,’ said the Italian.

Continuing, Romano says: ‘The feeling is that Osimhen will renew his contract with Napoli. As regards the clause, it will be valid starting from the summer
of 2024, but the amount is currently unknown.

‘This is a situation to be followed in the coming days and weeks and could be important for Victor Osimhen. I know that the parties are discussing precisely
this point,’ added Romano.
