Transfer expert says Nigerian to miss his agents soon
Fabrizio Romano says Victor Osimhen’s priority is still to leave Serie A side, Napoli and will have a meeting with his agents very soon.
Writing in his column in CaughtOffside, Romano believes the Nigerian is looking for a way out of Napoli.
‘I’ve had some Chelsea fans asking me again about Victor Osimhen as this story has seemed quiet recently,’ said Romano.
‘I still see Osimhen leaving, but at the moment the reality is that it is quiet, so we can only wait and see what happens.
‘Osimhen will meet with his agent in the next days to assess all the options and decide what’s best for him.
‘Osimhen’s priority remains to leave Napoli this summer, the plan has not changed.’
Osimhen has been a revelation for Napoli since his reported £70m move from Lille back in 2020.
Last season, the 25 year old inspired Napoli to their first Scudetto win in 33 years, netting 26 goals in 32 games. He was also the first African top top score in the history of the Serie A.
