Falconets coach to Germany: My girls can do much, much better than they did against Korea

Germany and Nigeria are two out of the four teams playing on Wednesday who are looking to maintain a perfect record to seal their passage into the next round of the FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup holding in Colombia.

The two nations will face each other at 5pm local time (11pm in Nigeria) to see who will continue the perfect run.

The odds favour the Germans who have won in all four past encounters with Nigeria at the competition and have won the past three against the Falconets without conceding a goal.

The Falconets will however be undaunted by such an unfavourable statistics as they seek their first win against the German U20 sides.

Nigeria’s coach Christopher Danjuma warned that his side will be “much, much, much better” in their next group games and if that is the case then this could be a lively affair in the Colombian capital of Bogota where the match will be played at the Estadio El Techo.

The Falconets began their campaign with a 1-0 defeat of Korea and have indeed won their past four group matches at the tournament.
