Falconets’ star, Okwuchukwu dreams of meeting Ronaldo, play for Man United

Falconets super star at the ongoing FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup in Colombia, Chiamaka Okwuchukwu says her dream is to meet her idol, Cristiano Ronaldo and play for the women’s team of Manchester United.

Okwuchukwu has been sensational and inspiration for the Falconets and contributed greatly to their qualification for the first knockout phase of the competition with her two goals and an assist.

The Nigerians will now face Japan in the early hours of Friday in their first knockout phase game.

The player told FIFA.com what the tournament means to her and her dreams.

‘This tournament is a big chance for me to show what I can do and move to a bigger club in Europe; that’s what I’m praying for, to be a professional footballer and to be a role model to fans and many people.

‘For me, I admire Cristiano Ronaldo so much, so of course it’s a dream to play for Manchester United. It’s one of my biggest dreams to meet [Ronaldo] one day….even just to have a good handshake,’ she said.
