Fatodu Calls for Collective Effort to Drive Sports Development in Lagos

The Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Mr. Lekan Fatodu, has urged staff of the Commission to embrace teamwork as the new year begins.
Speaking at the New Year Prayer Session held at the Molade Okoya-Thomas Indoor Sports Hall, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Fatodu emphasized that collective responsibility is key to achieving better outcomes.
He noted that the Commission remains focused on inspiring transformation, creating pathways for improvement, and sustaining progress in sports development across Lagos State.
He encouraged staff to take pride in the identity of the Commission while improving the quality of job performance, engagement, and responsibilities.
Fatodu highlighted the Commission’s unprecedented victories and reaffirmed its determination to achieve more, stressing that sports serve as a powerful tool for diplomacy and community development.
‘The leadership expresses gratitude for the team’s dedication and sacrifices, aiming for greater achievements in the future. The Commission is determined to protect its identity and continue its success in sports development,’ he said.
