Fenerbahçe Tempt Lookman With €10m Salary Offer

According to reports from Sabah, Fenerbahçe have stepped up their pursuit of Ademola Lookman with a lucrative offer that could see the Nigerian forward earn €10 million per year, including bonuses, should he agree to join the Istanbul giants.
Currently at Atalanta and also linked with Galatasaray, Lookman has emerged as a prime target for the yellow-navy blues, who are prepared to multiply his current net salary of €1.8 million more than fivefold to secure his services.
The newspaper says Fenerbahçe officials travelled to Italy to meet with the player’s representatives, with initial discussions described as positive. If Lookman accepts the personal terms, the club will move to formal negotiations with Atalanta.
The Serie A side, however, are holding firm on a €50 million valuation for the 28-year-old, who still has 18 months left on his contract. Fenerbahçe are expected to push for a figure closer to €30 million in hopes of striking a compromise.
Lookman has featured in 16 matches across all competitions this season, playing 1,153 minutes and contributing three goals and one assist. His consistent performances have kept him in demand, and Fenerbahçe’s ambitious bid highlights their determination to bolster their attacking options.
