Galatasaray confirms Osimhen preference amid big-money transfer talks

Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Vice President Abdullah Kavukçu has revealed that Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is eager to join the Turkish giants, despite receiving massive offers from other suitors.
‘Osimhen wants us very much,’ Kavukçu declared in an official statement. ‘They offered unbelievable figures. We’ve put forward a package worth €80–90 million.
Over three years, there’s a financial gap compared to those offers—but he still prefers Galatasaray. He made this clear.’
Kavukçu emphasized that Galatasaray remains Osimhen’s first choice, citing both the club’s ambition and the player’s personal conviction.
According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Galatasaray has agreed to pay in two installments of €17.5 million up to 2026.
The club has also accepted a €75 million buy-back clause, should Osimhen return to Italy within two years—an unusual but strategic safeguard. Negotiations are still underway to finalize the terms of future sale percentages.
This bold move could mark one of the most high-profile signings in the club’s history, as Galatasaray aims to reinforce its European credentials while Osimhen prepares to begin a new chapter.
