Galatasaray: Osimhen has Grade II ankle sprain

Galatasaray has officially announced that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen sustained a moderate sprain with bleeding in his ankle ligaments during Nigeria’s World Cup Qualifier against Rwanda.
In a statement released by the club, it was confirmed.
‘Following medical examinations conducted at our sponsor hospital, a moderate sprain, characterized by stretching and bleeding, was detected in Victor Osimhen’s ankle ligaments. Treatment has commenced to ensure his swift recovery.’
The injury has raised concerns ahead of Galatasaray’s upcoming fixtures. The team is set to face Eyüpspor away this weekend in the Trendyol Super Lig, followed by a crucial Champions League encounter against Eintracht Frankfurt next week.
According to TRT Spor, Osimhen is unlikely to feature in the Eyüpspor match, but the club is hopeful he will be fit in time for the Frankfurt clash.
