Galatasaray Vice President, Hatipoğlu: Only Osimhen can decide his next move
Reveals the Nigerian indeed has a release clause of 75 million euros

Galatasaray Vice President İbrahim Hatipoğlu has confirmed that Victor Osimhen has a release clause in his contract and that it will not be enough for clubs who want to sign the Nigerian to agree with Napoli.
Hatipoğlu told Turkish news outlet, Milliyet that Osimhen truly has a release clause of 75 million euros. If you go to Napoli, which has the player’s certificate, and a club gives this money and the Italian team decides to evaluate it, the job does not end.
‘Osimhen’s consent is also required. If Osimhen says, ‘I’ve made a deal, I want to go,’ there’s nothing to be done. The work does not end here either. If any club signs both Osimhen and Napoli, they have to come to us. Of course, there will be a financial burden for them,’ said Hatipoğlu.
Hatipoğlu revealed that the Nigerian is enjoying every moment of his stay in Turkey, especially at the Istanbul club.
‘Osimhen feels better here than he imagined. He says he made the right choice at every opportunity. His manager also called us and thanked us. Galatasaray fans have nothing to worry about.’
Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk had earlier revealed Osimhen’s delight at his decision to join the Turkish Super Lig side.
‘He said from the beginning that he would stay. He has a clause in his contract but he said he wanted to stay with us. The important thing here is the player. Osimhen is the one to decide whether to go or not. He said he wanted to stay. That clause doesn’t matter,” he said.
Osimhen has played in nine matches for Galatasaray this season and has scored eight times and provided four assists.
