Glenn Hoddle: ‘Victor Osimhen’s a Premier League player!’

Former England player and manager, Glenn Hoddle says Victor Osimhen will thrive in England if he joins a Premier League club this summer.

The 25 year old Nigerian is likely to be one of the most sought after strikers this summer and has been heavily linked with a move to a number of Premier
League sides, especially Chelsea and Manchester United.

Osimhen who is widely expected to leave the club at the end of the season having signed a contract extension until 2026 last December with a release clause
of around £112m has scored 13 goals in 24 appearances for Napoli this season.

Hoddle who managed Chelsea as player/manager, Tottenham, Southampton and Wolves believes Osimhen is perfectly suited to the Premier League.

‘He’s a Premier League player looking at him, the style of him as well. But he’s got his hunger back. That’s the main thing. I think now he’s back to his
best.’

‘He’s got the hunger, the movement, he wants to score goals. That’s the big difference, the mindset,’ Hoddle told TNT Sports.
