Göztepe set to ‘steal’ Onuachu from Trabzonspor!

It has been claimed that Super Lig side, Göztepe have stepped in for Paul Onuachu and will formalize the transfer by the end of the week, according to DHA.

The report stated that Göztepe has taken action to include the Nigerian who plays for Premier League side, Southampton in their squad.

DHA is also reporting that Göztepe will make the transfer official by the end of the week.

The 30-year-old footballer, who is also wanted by his former team Trabzonspor also in the Super Lig in Turkey, turned the route back to the Super Lig after the end of the transfer window in Europe.

It was noted that Onuachu, for whom Southampton wanted 15 million Euros at the beginning of the season, will most likely continue his career in Turkey country for another season. It was also emphasized that Göztepe, who did not want to miss the opportunity, was very keen on Onuachu.

The experienced striker, who played for Trabzonspor last season, scored 17 goals in 25 official matches.
