Hasan Şaş: Not Every Player Is Blessed Like Osimhen

Former Galatasaray star Hasan Şaş has praised the team’s performance in their 1-0 Champions League victory over Liverpool at Rams Park, while highlighting the influence of coach Okan Buruk and the impact of Victor Osimhen.

Speaking on the SporON YouTube channel, Şaş emphasized the Nigerian striker’s bond with the club and its supporters.

‘Not everything in life is money. Osimhen stayed here because he is loved. He could have gone anywhere, but he chose Galatasaray because he is happy.

‘This kind of choreography and support is not available to every footballer. The fans and Ultraslan are doing their part, and Osimhen is repaying that love.’
Şaş concluded with admiration for Osimhen’s determination.

‘In the 90+1 minute, he was still dragging defenders like Konaté, who is almost twice his size. We can’t say enough about him. I hope he will continue at Galatasaray, because not every player is blessed with this kind of connection.’
