Iheanacho subbed on for the 125th time in English League, Ndidi makes 260th appearance for Leicester City

Kelechi Iheanacho returned to action in Leicester City’s 1-1 draw away at Ipswich Town after missing the Foxes’ last four games.

The Nigerian was subbed on for Patson Daka on 63 minutes of the game, the ninth time in 19 matches for Leicester City in the Sky Bet Championship so far this
season.

Iheanacho was subbed on 116 times in 196 games during his eight seasons in English Premier League. He was the most subbed on Nigerian in Premier League
history, followed by former Everton player, Victor Anichebe (105) and Shola Ameobi (76).

In total, Iheanacho has now been subbed on 125 times in 215 games in league football in England.

The 27 year old was however unable to help the Foxes exend their winning run to six straight games after firing blanks. He has scored five times and provided one assist in 19 appearances so far this season but has not scored since he netted the third goal in Leicester City’s 3-1 win at Swansea City towards the end of October.

Meanwhile, Wilfred Ndidi made his 16th start in 20 games for the Foxes in the Sky Bet Championship and 260th overall since he joined the club in January 2016 from Belgian Pro League side, KRC Genk.

The 27 year old has netted 15 times and provided 18 assists since he joined with four of the goals and six of the assists coming in 20 games this season.
