Ikorodu City FC announce Nurudeen Aweroro as interim head coach
Nigeria Premier Football League side, Ikorodu City FC have confirmed Nurudeen Aweroro as their interim head coach with immediate effect.
This announcement was made Tuesday following the resignation of Bright Ozebagbe early this month.
Aweroro, Ozebagbe’s first assistant coach, took over after the substantive coach resigned and Ikorodu City FC have now confirmed him as the interim head coach.
The club also announced Aweroro will be assisted by Ali Kandil who will be the first assistant coach, Bello Adebayo the second assistant coach and trainer while Sheriff Salami will serve as the goalkeeper trainer.
Courage Okeke, according to the club will continue in his role as the first team macth and performance data analyst.
Since Aweroro took charge of the ‘Oga Boys’, the club has won two games in the Nigerian topflight league and have garnered eight points from the opening eight games of the league to stay 17th on the log.
