Isaac Success scores first Serie A goal in 12 months
Former Nigeria junior international, Isaac Success was on target Sunday for his club, Udinese Calcio in their 3-0 defeat of visiting US Cremonese at the
all-seater Dacia Arena in Udine, Italy.
Success, in his second season at the club was on target in the 36th minute to give Udinese a 3-0 first half lead. The Nigerian was substituted six minutes
after but the home team ensured they got all the three points to move up to ninth on the log.
The goal was Sucess’ first of the 2022/23 campaign after providing six assists. It was also his first since April last year when he scored and provided an
assist to help his club run away with a point at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara against their host, Bologna.
Success who scored six times in 76 games for Watford in England before moving to the Serie A has now netted five times in 56 games across all competitions
for Udinese with three of the goals scored in 52 Serie A games.
He also bagged 16 assists with 13 provided in 52 games in the league.
The 27 year old who played four times for the Super Eagles will now be hoping for a late flourish and will be targetting more goals in the remaining seven
games left.
