Iwobi and Ndidi make Whoscored Premier League Team of the Week
Super Eagles stars, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi were both pivotal to their respective club’s impressive performance in the Premier League match week 14 fixtures in mid-week and both have deservedly been named into Whoscored’s team of the week.
Whoscored, the football statistics website which provides live football scores, match results, player ratings and detailed statistics from top leagues and competitions, named the two Nigerians in four-man midfield in 4-4-2 system that has Mo Salah of Liverpool and Victor Kristiansen of Leicester alongside Iwobi and Ndidi.
Ndidi shone like a million stars in Ruud van Nistelrooy’s first game as Leicester City manager and the former Manchester United forward hailed the Nigerian for his very effective display in the middle of the pack.
Whoscored agrees with van Nistelrooy and wrote thus about the 27 year old with an8.70 rating:

Iwobi was also inspiring for Fulham and has been named player of the match by both the Premier League website and Fulham fans.
