Iwobi closing in on 200th Premier League start, Aina set to make 60th appearance

Ndidi in line for 182nd start in 196 games

Alex Iwobi is closing on his 200th start in the Premier League after as he has been named in Fulham’s starting eleven against West Ham Saturday afternoon at Craven Cottage.

The 28 year old will be starting his 197th game in 257 appearances in the competition and the former Arsenal player will be just three short of joining Yakubu Aiyegbeni (216 in 252 games) and Joseph Yobo (212 in 228 games) as Nigerians who have started at least 200 games in the history of the Premier League.

Iwobi, who is looking for his first goal in 14 Premier League games against West Ham, is also looking to get the assist that will put him above Nwankwo Kanu as the Nigerian with the most assists in Premier League history.

He is tied on 29 with Kanu.

At Anfield, Ola Aina will be featuring in his 60th Premier League game. He made his debut in the competition with Chelsea, coming on in the final eight minutes of regulation in the 3-0 defeat of Leicester City at Stamford Bridge in October 2016.

He went on to play two more games in the competition for the west London side before featuring 31 times for Fulham. He will be making his 26th appearance in the competition for Nottigham Forest on Saturday at Anfield.

At Selhurst Park, Wilfred Ndidi will be making his 182nd start in 196 Premier League games for Leicester City, a side he joined in January 2017.
