Karim Adeyemi: ‘I’m happy at Dortmund but there are no guarantees in life’

Nigeria-born Borussia Dortmund player, Karim Adeyemi says he is happy to be a Borussia Dortmund player but refused to rule out a move this summer, saying, ‘there are no guarantees in life.’

‘I can’t say anything about that. I’m wearing a Dortmund shirt, and I’m very happy to be wearing a Dortmund shirt. There are no guarantees in life,’ the 22 year old told Ruhr Nachrichten.

Adeyemi, born to a Nigerian father and Romanian mother, joined Dortmund in July 2022 and his contract expires on June 30, 2027.

He has featured 66 times for the club and scored 14 goals and provided eight assists.

The Nigerian has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the Premier League and Juventus in the Serie A but new Dortmund coach, Nuru Sahin told Ruhr Nachrichten he would not be drawn on rumors.

‘Karim knows what I think about him. I’m not going to start commenting on every rumor. I’m not playing along. What’s important to me is what I want from Karim. And what Karim told me is important to me. Everything else is not my concern.’
