Kenneth Igboke is Rangers Player of the Month

Rangers International F.C’s teenage sensational left-back, Kenneth Igboke, has scooped the club’s Player-of-the-month award that comes with some financial attachments and recognition.

Technical Adviser of the ‘Flying Antelopes’, Abdul Maikaba, made the announcement on Tuesday after a training session.

Maikaba stressed that the young defender, who is one of the players promoted from its Feeder team at the start of the season, has been superlative in all the matches he has played.

In a very brief ceremony, coach Maikaba said of the award, “The award is to keep the team motivated as we hit the home stretch of the season and Kenneth Igboke was the overwhelming favorite amongst his teammates and coaches.

It is my belief that this will spur him to do more in coming matches.”

Barrister Ferdinand Ugwuarua, the club’s Administrative Secretary said at the event, “I believe that we can deliver the required goods in the remaining games of the season with this award system.

‘Congratulations, Kenneth, as I urge you to keep the flag flying while I charge other players to up their game to get the recognition.”

Dr. Wen Udorji, the club’s head of medicals in his contribution, said, “Kenneth has never ceased to amaze the team since his promotion and it is an award well deserved. I urge him to keep up the good work.”
