Kenyan Ejore confirmed for 117th Millrose Games
Two-time NCAA Distance Medley Short Track champion and Paris 2024 Olympics 1500m finalist, Susan Ejore is returning to next month’s Millrose Games scheduled to hold at the Armory Track ad Field Center in New York.
The 29-year-old is returning to the event where she set the 4:20.61 Kenyan indoor mile record holder in finishing third in 2024 and will be competing in the Wanamaker Mile.
Ejore is among a number of athletes who have been confirmed for the World Athletics indoor tour-gold on Monday by the organisers.
Also confirmed are 1500m Olympic silver and bronze medalists Jess Hull and Georgia Bell for women’s Wanamaker Mile.
Hull returns after finishing second in last year’s race and is seeking her first Wanamaker Mile title in 4:19.03. Bell will be making her Millrose Games debut.
According to Citius Magazine, also confirmed for the Wanamaker Mile is Nikki Hiltz, World Indoor 1500m silver medalist who was seventh in the Olympic final, Maia Ramsden, NCAA 1500m/mile champion and New Zealand record holder and Olympian, Sinclaire Johnson, 2022 U.S. Champion who was fourth at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials 1500m final, Sinta Vissa, the Italian record holder and Olympian as well as Elise Cranny, the two-time U.S. Olympian and No. 3 all-time U.S. miler.
