La Gazzetta dello Sport: Atalanta insist on €50m for Lookman

Galatasaray’s pursuit of Ademola Lookman remains uncertain as Atalanta stand firm on their valuation of the Nigerian forward.
Despite strong interest from the Turkish champions and efforts by Victor Osimhen to convince his compatriot to join him in Istanbul, the Italian club has made it clear that the transfer will only happen if their asking price is met.
Reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport reveal that Atalanta have set a fee of €50 million for Lookman, refusing to negotiate below that figure.
Galatasaray’s pressure on both Osimhen and the player himself is unlikely to yield results unless the club is prepared to meet the demand. The situation is expected to develop further in the coming weeks, but insiders suggest it is highly improbable that Atalanta will reduce their stance.
Lookman has featured in 11 matches this season, scoring once, and his market value is currently estimated at €40 million. He remains under contract with Atalanta until June 2027, giving the Serie A side significant leverage in negotiations.
For Galatasaray, the challenge is clear: if they want Lookman in yellow and red, they must pay the full price.
