Liverpool Fear Long Layoff as Isak Suffers Leg Fracture

Liverpool have been dealt a major setback with fears that star striker Alexander Isak has suffered a serious leg fracture.

The £125m forward was visibly distressed as he left the pitch during Saturday’s victory over Tottenham.

Initial assessments ruled out knee damage, but according to the Daily Mail, Liverpool chiefs now believe the Swede has sustained a fracture to his lower left leg.

Scans conducted on Sunday confirmed there were no ligament issues, but further examinations revealed the fracture, leaving the club bracing for a lengthy recovery period.

Isak, who has been central to Liverpool’s attacking play this season, now faces an extended spell on the sidelines.

The club is expected to release an official statement in the coming days to clarify the extent of the injury and his rehabilitation timeline.
