Lookman Deal in Limbo as Inter Milan Cap Offer at €50m

Inter Milan remain steadfast in their pursuit of Ademola Lookman, but they’re drawing a hard line at €50 million.
According to Corriere di Bergamo via FCInterNews, the Serie A runners-up have reached out to the Nigerian forward’s representatives to accelerate negotiations.
While Lookman has reportedly agreed to personal terms with the Nerazzurri, his current club Atalanta have yet to name an official asking price.
Earlier reports suggested that €50 million might be enough to seal the deal. However, following the recent sale of Mateo Retegui, Atalanta may now be reconsidering their valuation of Lookman, who remains one of their most prized assets.
Inter’s initial €45 million bid was rejected earlier this month, and talks between the two clubs have since cooled. Despite this, Inter are still keen on landing the 27-year-old, though they’ve made it clear they won’t go beyond their €50 million ceiling.
With Atalanta seemingly holding out for more, Inter could soon shift their focus to alternative attacking options if negotiations continue to stall.
