Lookman deletes Atalanta ties after Juric clash

Ademola Lookman has deleted all Atalanta-related content from his social media accounts following a heated altercation with head coach Ivan Juric during Atalanta’s Champions League match against Marseille.

The tension between the two flared when Juric grabbed Lookman’s arm as he was substituted, a moment that quickly went viral and deepened an already simmering crisis.

The Nigerian forward, who has been unsettled since the start of the season, unfollowed the club and removed all posts referencing Atalanta, fueling speculation about his future.

Juric attempted to downplay the incident in a press conference, saying, ‘Lookman trained yesterday and what happened in the Marseille match is over. He’s an extraordinary footballer and sometimes these things happen.’

Despite the coach’s reassurances, Lookman is reportedly keen to leave the club before his contract expires in 2027. Galatasaray has emerged as a possible destination, with interest building around the unsettled star.
