Lookman Looking To Equal Yekini, Ighalo and Okocha AFCON goal record

Friday.
The Super Eagles will face the Palancas Negras of Angola in their 11th quarterfinal game in 20 appearances at the competition, a record appearance only
achieved by three countries viz Ghana, Ivory Coast and Tunisia.
Lookman scored his first-ever Africa Cup of Nations goals when he fired in a brace against Cameroon in the round of 16 tie last weekend.
The 26 year old could become the fourth Nigerian to score three or more goals in the knockout rounds of a single AFCON edition, after Odion Ighalo in 2019 (4), Austin Jay-Jay Okocha in 2004 (3) and Rashidi Yekini in 1994 (3).
