Lookman’s Market Value Dips Again as Ahanor, Akinsanmiro Surge in Serie A Update

Ademola Lookman’s market value has taken another hit following Transfermarkt’s latest Serie A update released on Tuesday.

The Atalanta forward, who has endured a slow start to the 2025/26 season amid transfer complications, saw his valuation drop by €5 million to €35 million, his second consecutive decline in under three months.

Lookman reached a career-high valuation of €60 million in March this year, but dropped to €40 million in October before this latest adjustment.

Despite the downturn, the 27-year-old remains the second most valuable Nigerian player behind Victor Osimhen and also ranks as Atalanta’s second most valuable asset.

Globally, he is now positioned 192nd among all players and 18th within Serie A.

While Lookman’s value dipped, fellow Atalanta teammate Honest Ahanor has seen his stock rise. The 17-year-old centre-back, relatively unknown until recently, climbed to a career-best €25 million valuation.

Ahanor now ranks 369th worldwide, 49th in Serie A, and fourth among both Atalanta players and Nigerian internationals.

Elsewhere, Hellas Verona forward Gift Orban experienced a sharp drop in value, falling by €1.5 million to €8.50 million. Orban’s decline continues a downward trend that has seen his valuation fall by €15 million in recent months.

In contrast, goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has reached a personal milestone, climbing to €8 million, his highest career valuation to date. Okoye’s steady rise reflects his growing consistency and form.

Pisa FC midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, currently representing Nigeria at AFCON 2025, also saw his value increase by €2 million to €6.50 million, marking a new career high. Akinsanmiro’s upward trajectory comes as he gains continental exposure in Morocco.
