Manchester United plot January move for Boniface

Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Bayer Leverkusen of Germany forward, Victor Boniface and could move for the Nigerian in January.

The Red Devils are determined to get quality options in the attack for new gaffer, Ruben Amorim and Boniface and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush top the list of the top hierarchy at Old Trafford.

‘Both the forwards have long-standing contracts with their current clubs and Manchester United will have to pay through their pockets to try and sign them in January,’ says Sky Germany.

Bayer Leverkusen value Boniface highly and could demand a hefty fee for a January sale.

Boniface has scored eight times this season in 15 appearances including the six goals he netted in Bundesliga games.

He joined the German side in July 2023 from Belgian Pro League side, Union Saint-Gilloise where he scored 17 goals and provided 12 assists in 51 appearances.

He has scored 29 times and bagged 11 assists in 49 games for his current club and was voted Rookie of the season as he helped Bayer Leverkusen to their first Bundesliga title last season without tasting defeat.
