Masry: ‘My players are ready for Enyimba in CAF Confederation Cup Tie’

Egyptian club Masry Coach, Ali Maher says his players are ready to face Enyimba of Aba in their opening group game of the CAF Confederation Cup on Wednesday.

Masry defeated Zamalek 1-0 in a league match at the weekend to serve as a perfect tune up for the big game and Ali Maher says they will be eyeing a strong start against the Nigerians.

‘We have immediately tuned Zamalek page because we need to focus on the next game. We had little time to prepare but my players are ready for Enyimba.

‘Enyimba is a very strong opponent who has a large experience in African soccer.

‘Our objective is to advance to the next round, but we want to go as far as possible in the competition,’Coach Ali Maher said at the pre-game press conference on Tuesday.

Masry are in the same group with defending champions Zamalek, Nigerian side Enyimba and Black Bulls Maputo from Mozambique.
