Mbappé reaches Yamal, Haaland level as Word’s Most Valuable Players

Kylian Mbappé has climbed back to the very top of the global football valuation charts after Transfermarkt’s latest LaLiga market value update.

Spain’s top flight became the second major league to receive a full recalibration this week, with 493 players reassessed.

The biggest headline belongs to Real Madrid’s new superstar, whose value has risen by €20 million, returning him to the €200m mark for the first time since 2019.

Mbappé now stands level with Lamine Yamal and Erling Haaland as the most valuable footballer in the world.

Mbappé has re‑established himself among the absolute elite despite the turbulence surrounding Real Madrid off the pitch. His numbers back that up: 26 goals in 24 matches across all competitions, and he is just four goals away from breaking Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for most goals in a calendar year.

Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham has seen his own valuation fall. The English midfielder drops from €180m to €160m after a prolonged dip in form that began in the second half of last season.

Another Englishman at Madrid, Trent Alexander‑Arnold, has also been downgraded. His value falls from €75m to €70m after a difficult start to life in Spain and another injury setback.

Rodrygo’s situation is more concerning. The Brazilian winger has endured a year to forget, failing to register a league goal or assist since January. His form has collapsed, and with no club willing to meet Madrid’s previous transfer demands, his future is increasingly uncertain.
