Middlesbrough boss, Carrick urged to sign Emmanuel Dennis

Middlesbrough boss Michael Carrick has been urged to sign Nigerian international forward, Emmanuel Dennis as the Man United legend looks to add a few more signings to his squad this summer to build on the 2023-24 season.

The Riverside club missed out on a Championship play-off place last season, finishing eighth in the table, and Carrick has been told Dennis will be a good signing to help the club’s push for promotion at the end of the coming season.

Dennis joined Forest from Watford in 2022 and has scored 12 Premier League goals in his career and netted four times in the Championship during his loan spell at Watford last term.

The Nigerian, according to Football Insider, could be tempted to sign for an ambitious, promotion-chasing second tier side with his future at the City Ground non-existent.

Nothingham Forest are reported to be looking to cash in on the Nigerian who scored twice and bagged three assists in 25 appearances.
