Mixed 4x400m relay to debut at 2026 Commonwealth Games
The mixed 4x400m relay will be on the athletics programme for Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games while the Mile will replace the 1500m, according to the organizers.
The Glasgow Games will take place from 23 July to 2 August 2026 and Scotstoun Stadium will host the athletics action.
In the full event programme on the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games website, athletes in para athletics will be competing in jumping, throwing and track events for the first time ever.
This means Nigeria can also present a team for the mixed 4x400m and increase her chances of winning medals.
