Moses Simon extends Nantes contract until 2026
Nigeria winger, Moses Simon has extended his stay with Nantes despite reported interest from other Ligue 1 clubs.
Simon will now stay at the club he joined in July 2020 till 2026. His current deal had been set to expire at the end of the season, alerting clubs to his availability.
The former Gent of Belgium forward’s current contract status has been attracting interest from several Ligue 1 clubs including Lyon.
Olympic Marseille was reported to have made contact with the player’s entourage but it seems the Nigerian is happy at Nantes.
Simon has scored three goals and provided five assists in 17 Ligue 1 games for Nantes so far this season.
Overall, he has scored 29 times and bagged 31 assists in 163 games for the club.
