Napoli’s New Era: Osimhen Out, Lookman In?

Napoli is preparing for life after Victor Osimhen, with Sky Sport reporting that the Nigerian striker is on the verge of a €75 million move to Galatasaray.

The deal now hinges on finalizing bank guarantees, but once sealed, it could reshape Napoli’s entire attacking strategy.

Rather than splashing out €60–65 million on Darwin Núñez, the club is leaning toward a more cost-effective option in Lorenzo Lucca, valued at €35–40 million. This would free up funds to pursue a high-impact winger — and Ademola Lookman is back on the radar.

The Atalanta star, who dazzled in Serie A and Europe last season, is seen as a more dynamic alternative to Bologna’s Dan Ndoye. With Lookman’s future at Atalanta uncertain following tensions with coach Gian Piero Gasperini, Napoli could pounce.

If the plan goes through, Napoli would abandon pursuits of both Ndoye and Núñez, instead arming Antonio Conte with two Serie A-proven talents in Lucca and Lookman — a bold reshuffle that could redefine their frontline.
