Nathan Tella Signs Long-Term Deal with Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have announced that forward Nathan Tella has signed a new long-term contract with the club, extending his stay until 30 June 2031.
The versatile 26-year-old, who joined the Werkself from Southampton in 2023, has impressed with his ability to play across the front line as a right winger, false nine, or left winger.
His previous contract was due to run until 2028.

The England-born Nigeria international expressed his joy at committing his future to the Bundesliga champions.
‘This long-term commitment is an expression of a special relationship. I really feel at home at Bayer 04, the first few years have seen a lot of fantastic successes,’ said Tella.
‘It’s great fun to now be part of the development of a new and powerful team. I’m sure we will achieve our goals again in the coming years.’
