Ndidi and Leicester City shift focus to Man United and Ipswich after loss to Nottingham Forest
Wilfred Ndidi has turned his focus on Leicester City’s mid-week Carabao Cup game against Manchester United and Saturday’s Premier League fixture at Ipswich Town after crashing 3-1 with his club to Nottingham Forest last Friday in a Premier League match week nine fixture at the King Power stadium.
The 27-year-old believes the games give the Foxes to opportunity to bounce back after the disappointing loss in front of their fans as he is picking the positives instead of dwelling on the defeat.
‘We just keep trying. We will just look on the positive sides and then the ones we need to improve on, we look towards the next games. It’s another huge game (against Ipswich).
‘We’ve got great players in the team, so we’ve got a good team, and I believe we can actually get something in the next one,’ said the Nigeria international who lost for the 81st time in the competition.
Meanwhile, Ndidi is still leading the charge for the most completed tackles in the Premier League for the 2024/25 season.
