Ndidi back in partial training, to miss ninth Premier League game on Saturday

Wilfred Ndidi is back in partial training but will not be available for Leicester City’s trip to the Goodison Park where they will face David Moyes’ Everton in a Premier League matchweek 24 tie.

The Nigerian has been out of competitive football action for his Premier League side since early December when he featured for 52 minutes in the Foxes 2-2 draw with Brighton at the King Power stadium.

Gaffer and Premier League legend, Ruud van Nistelrooy says the Nigerian will not be available this weekend albeit he has started partial training.

The former Manchester United forward who scored 150 goals in 209 appearances for Manchester United including the 95 goals in 150 Premier League appearances reveals Ndidi will resume full training next week and could be available for the FA Cup clash against the Red Devils.

‘Wilfred is making good progress. He is partially involved in team training. We’ll look to bring him into full team training next week,’ said Van Nistelrooy at a press conference on Thursday.

Ndidi has missed eight games in the Premier League since his injury with Leicester losing seven of the matches.
